In accordance with applicable data privacy laws this privacy policy sets out how Fair wind d.o.o. collects, processes and protects your personal information as well as for which purposes we use them and what rights you have over your data.

1.      Visit to our website

 a)  Which personal data are collected?

You can look at Fair wind d.o.o.'s pages without any commitment of revealing your identity or leaving any kind of your private data. Data automatically collected during each visit to the website is not considered as personal information: your computer's IP address, the type of web browser, domain name, time of access, address of the website you came from and information about the pages you visited on our website and actions you made during your browsing on our website. These data are collected through what are known as “cookies”. Cookies are pieces of information stored on a user’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. b) What do we use that data for?

That data we use for running our statistics about the use of the page so that we could improve the quality of our site. We are pointing out that we do not collect your e-mail address or any other information, which could be personally identifiable.

 c) Where and how long are that data stored?

That  data is stored on a Google server for as long as we choose it and we have chosen  the 38 months period in order to be able to make the quality longterm statistical reports. The Google policy on data retention can be found here .

d) Who do we share that data with?

Apart from Fair Wind d.o.o. that data is available to Google and our web-hosting provider. As a part of being a Data Processor, Google provided a data processing agreement which is available on their own Privacy Compliance website. Our web – hosting service provider is  which complies with our Data Protection Requirements including the General Data Protection Regulation as well as other applicable Privacy Laws. 2.      Sending booking enquiry via the online form

a)     Which personal data are collected?

Filling and sending booking enquiry via online booking form at following data about you are collected automatically : time of submitting a form, your IP address and web browser used to reach the page while the other data such as:  name and surname, email address, phone number, number of people to be on your charter, boat selected, date selected, number of weeks and charter option data you send by your own decision.

b)     What do we use that data for?

That data we use in order to send you the offer for our services requested in the enquiry.

c)      Where and how long are that data stored?

That date is stored on our server and in our office computer for as long as it is needed to be in contact with you in regard to your enquiry.

d)     Who do we share that data with?

That data are available to our web – hosting service provider which is  which complies with our Data Protection Requirements including the General Data Protection Regulation as well as other applicable Privacy Laws. 3.      Making a reservation

a)     Which personal data are collected?

When you decide to complete your reservation we will need following personal information: forename and surname, address, contact phone, email address, sailing and VHF radio licenses. We are collecting only the information that we need to complete the procedure of reservation of our services.

Placing the reservation you  also agree that prior to check-in or at check-in you will need to present your personal identification documents, i.e. submit your personal data (first and last name, type and number of your personal identification document, gender, state and address of residence, with date of birth and citizenship), all for evidence of tourists in the Information System of Tourist Boards of the Republic of Croatia – eVisitor (Law on sojourn tax, National Gazette 152/08). These data is collected for statistic processing and is used by the Tourist boards, public authorities and Ministries relating to this procedure (Ministry of tourism and Tourist inspection, Ministry of internal affairs and Ministry of finances – Customs authorities).

b)     What do we use that data for?

We use the data listed above to provide you with the service you ordered. It is necessary that you are informed in a timely manner about all actions and activities related to that service. In doing so, we contact you by phone only if we believe that it is in your best interest that the information reaches you as soon as possible, and we send all other information related to your inquiry or booking by e-mail: payment instructions, reminders,  invoice, instructions on arriving to our base... In doing so, no promotional or marketing notifications come to your e-mail address, unless you had explicitly requested so during the registration process.

d)     Where and how long are that data stored?

        That data is stored in our office computer. We shall delete your personal data upon termination of the contractual relationship or no later than these data are needed for any legal requirements.

        The data submitted to eVisitor are stored in their system for the period of 10 years as specified in their Collection on personal data policy published here. Each unauthorized usage, publication, change, processing, reproduction, distribution, recording or assignment or any other form of unauthorized use of such personal data is strictly prohibited.A complaint in regard to the processing of your personal data may be submitted by email to the Tourist board of Split:

        Data of users of our services we don't share with anyone apart from the data that we are obliged to submit in  the Information System of Tourist Boards of the Republic of Croatia – eVisitor.

5.     Newsletter

a)     Which personal data are collected?

In case you have given us your consent to receive notifications about our promotional activities, you will share your e-mail address with us. 

b)     What do we use that data for?

To send you our marketing campaigns to inform you occasionally about changes in our offer, special rates, upgraded information...and to provide you with all the information about the growth of our site

c)      Where and how long are that data stored?

These data are stored on our server for as long as you don't unsubscribe clicking the unsubscribe button in one of the newsletters or sending us an email on to unsubscribe you from our list.

That data are available to our web – hosting service provider which is  which complies with our Data Protection Requirements including the General Data Protection Regulation as well as other applicable Privacy Laws. 6.     Add Words, Facebook and Instagram

We use Ad Words, Facebook and Instagram advertising services and as such there are tracking codes installed on our website so that we can manage the effectiveness of these campaigns. We do not store any personal data within this type of tracking.

7.     Credit card payment safety

When paying online from our web page you are using e-commerce of Zagrebačka banka  dd (, an advanced system for secure acceptance of payment cards over the Internet which employs the newest security technologies, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security protocol with at least 128-bit encryption, as well as other technologies and security procedures designed to protect privacy of your data. The exchange of confidential data between the online payment system and the authorization centres of credit card companies is done through a Virtual Private Network (VPN), completely protected from unauthorized access.

E-commerce provides complete privacy of your credit card data from the moment when you type them in the e-commerce payment form.

Payment data are forwarded encrypted from your browser to the bank that issued your card. We never come into contact with a complete information about your payment card. Isolated core independently transmits and manages sensitive data, keeping them at the same time completely safe.
       The form for registration of payment data is secured with SSL transport code of utmost reliability. When Paying with the cards listed in the 3 - D Secure program of your bank the validity of the card and your identity is additionally confirmed using tokens or passwords. All collected information e-commerce considers confidential and treats them accordingly. The information are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended. Your sensitive data are completely safe, and their privacy is guaranteed by the highest security mechanisms. Collected are only the information essential for performing the task in accordance with prescribed procedures for demanding online payment. Card numbers are not stored in our system.

8.      Conversion Statement

All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion, there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our website or in the contract.    

9.     Security of collected information

Fair wind d.o.o. gives a great importance to this statement and we think that the credibility of our business depends on the fact how much the company's activity is in accordance with this statement. Therefore, Fair wind d.o.o. , especially cares that collected information about the user is safe and protected from loss, changes, unauthorized access or any kind of misuse.

We are not going to use collected information for purposes that are not mentioned in this statement., unless it's necessary for the procedure of the realization of the selected service.

Your personal data, Fair wind d.o.o. does not sell, trade, rent or give to third parties except in the following cases:

– If you explicitly and in writing agree to disclose certain confidential data for a particular purpose or to a particular person.

– If the Ministry of the Interior or the competent State Attorney requires the data for the purposes of carrying out the tasks within their competence.

– If a court, attorneys or a notary public require the data for their proceedings, where the submission of such data is required in writing.

– If the Tax Administration, the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, and Croatian Health Insurance Fund require the data on the basis of the legal obligations that the controller has towards them.

– If we are obliged to submit data to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure and Ministry of Tourism.

10.     Accessing and updating your personal information

You can contact us any time on email address   with the requests to access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
