We are
Kovaθiζ family (on the photo right) from Split, Croatia sailing on our
beautiful sailing yacht
Bavaria 38
named "Darija".
Darija is our private yacht we take special care of. A
lot of time and funds has been dedicated to choosing the each detail of the
equipment in order to have Darija being our second home. Maintenance and
cleanliness are the other two aspects on the boat we do not consider by
any means to save on.
We take advantage of each available moment to get out on the
sea with Darija, but unfortunately it is never as much as we would like
to......... and in order not to have it stay sadly in the marina we
charter it in the weeks we are not able to use it. This helps us also cover
some of the expenses and have it maintained even better.
But our guests are more like friends to us, by no means just clients. It
proved out for us that people, most of all sailors, prefer the personal
approach and small businesses to professionalism and other advantages of the
big companies. We easily fill-in the available weeks, mostly by repeated
guests although each year we have some fresh faces...... If you

Darija is based in Split,inMarina Spinut.
Split is an ideal starting point for your sailing
vacations in Croatia as it placed in the middle of the Croatian Adriatic cost
so that from Split you can sail either to the south (Hvar - Korθula -
Mljet-Dubrovnik ) either to the north (ibenik - Krka falls - Kornati
archipelago), creating your cruising route by yourself (whatever you choose
you can not mistake) or following one of our suggested routes (created to our
own experience).
Sailing along the Croatian cost of the Adriatic sea is the unique
experience. It is the ideal way to experience the stunning beauty of unspoiled landscapes
of the
Mediterranean as it once was . There are over 1.700 islands, islets and
cliffs to explore, each of them astonishing in its own way. Just a week of

addiction. You may say that we are biased when we claim that Croatian
Adriatic is the most beautifull sailing area in the world, but it is not only
us saying yet the sailors who have sailed all the seas of the world.
