We all enjoyed our trip with 36 "Pave". It was my first time at the mediteranian sea - the landscape and sea are marvelous!! The contact with Ivana via email before the trip was efficient and friendly. The briefing by Pasko was very good. I never had a boat before which was explained and equiped as good as this boat. We will have to come back...

MacQuarrie Family holiday - August 2007 (Australia). This was our first time chartering a yacht and given we booked over the internet without personally meeting Ivana and Pasko, we were nervous and apprehensive. Good news - it all went to plan. The Bavaria 46 'Nika' was sensational, Ivana and Pasko delightful people and very helpful and we had the most sensational week sailing the Adriatic in style! We can't wait to do it all again.

Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Charterfirma. Die Organisation durch Ivana und die Einweisung von Pasko waren perfekt. Der Transfer von und zum Flughafen, über e-mail abgesprochen funktionierte tadellos.
Ich kann den Eintrag von Rüdiger (weiter unten im Gästebuch) nur besttätigen.
Das Revier ist für einen Adria-Neuling wie mich, sehr interessant. Den Kindern haben die Delfine vor der Bucht von Stari Grad (Hvar) am besten gefallen.
Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen sind die happigen Preise (50€ für eine Nacht in der Nebensaison) in den ACI-Marinas. So etwas kenne ich von der Ostsee nicht.

What a great holiday, magnificent Islands, coastline, bays, harbours/marinas and restaurants. Ivana and Pasko made it easy for us from the early planning to the 'meet and greet', introduction to the boat, remote support and eventual departure back to the UK. They also managed to fix us up with an excellent skipper, Step, who was not only a great sailor but also great host to his Country. His range of conversation and expertise in local maritime history made our daily voyages safe, fun and extemeley informative. I would thouroughly recommend Ivana and Pasko, the 46ft Bavaria and Croatia to all.

Charter from Ivana and Pasko have been a sucsess for us, 7 buddies from Norway in a 46ft Bavaria. I recommend their service and didn't at any time feel that we where not in good hands. As an experienced charter I find their service proffessional.

We were nervous booking through the internet from Australia, but at no stage did we receive any nasty surprise or were left feeling like our expectations were not met (and usually exceeded).
The bavaria 36 was in super condition, Pasko was on hand 24/7 for any advice by supplied cellphone during the 3 week charter. Ivana was extremely helpful on shore, even taking our son to hospital for us, organising a doctor and spending hours in the ward with us. If you are considering a yacht charter in Croatia, look no further... Ivana was fantastically helpful all the way through the booking process, their rates are extremely competitive (I don't like to use the word 'cheap' but they were less than everywhere else after extensive 'shopping around') and the service was both extremely courteous and professional, whilst remaining personable. The boat was of the highest order and I will definitely be using them again... soon!
I cannot recommend them highly enough and would happily discuss the matter in person should anyone wish to contact me.

Pasko and Ivana's new Bavaria 46 is by far the most comfortable and easy to sail yacht I have ever experienced. Our crew of four (two men over 70 and two ladies who looked younger every day) therefore had much relaxing and trouble free time to explore the beautiful Croatian coast and its islands, to swim in its inlets and bays and to explore its historic old towns and villages. Everything worked well; the briefing by Pasko was efficient; the inventory more than adequate and all gear was in excellent condition. It was a 110% chartering experience - all credit and congratulations to Croatia Hire!

Nika is a new Bavaria 46 Cruiser and is the best-equipped yacht I have ever chartered in more than 40 years of chartering. Pasko and Ivana have provided everything one could wish for, and provide a very professional but personal service, including arranging taxis for shopping and airport transfers. The boat represents excellent value for money. The bow thruster is an invaluable aid to getting in and out of tightly-packed marinas. Spinut Marina does not have the facilities offered by the more expensive ACI marinas, but it does have two excellent restaurants. Our party of 8 enjoyed an excellent and very varied week cruising around Hvar, Korcula, Lastova and Solta islands and we will certainly be chartering from Pasko and Ivana again.

2004 waren wir die erste Chartercrew (4 Personen) auf der Bavaria 38. Auch in den Folgejahren waren wir mit diesem Schiff jeweils im Juni in der Adria unterwegs. Diese Zeit erscheint von den Witterungsbedingungen und dem Betrieb in den Marinas her günstig. Preiswerte Flüge nach Split lassen sich z.B. über TUI buchen. Die Ausgangsbasis Marina Spinut liegt nur ca. 20 km vom Flughafen entfernt. Ivana organisiert auf Wunsch den Transfer, welcher sich mit dem Provianteinkauf verbinden lässt. Die erforderlichen Absprachen lassen sich problemlos und zügig per E-Mail mit Ivana treffen. Die Übergabe der Yacht erfolgt freundlich und gewissenhaft durch Pasko, der auch während des Törns im Bedarfsfall stets über ein bordeigenes Handy erreichbar ist.
Die Ausstattung des Schiffes ist perfekt. Das Segelrevier stellt sich mit seinen vielen Inseln außerordentlich reizvoll dar. Während die nördlich gelegenen Kornaten recht karg wirken, sind die Inseln vor Split und im Süden dicht bewaldet. Als Alternative zu den gut ausgestatteten, aber auch sehr ausgelasteten ACI-Marinas, finden sich an vielen Stellen Konobas mit Anlege- und Speisemöglichkeit. Wir haben bis auf wenige Bora -Tage während unseres Törns 2005 stets gutes Wetter angetroffen, was auch überwiegend günstige Windverhältnissen einschloss.

We chartered Bavaria 38 Darija 30 Sep to 7 Oct 2006. Weather warm and sunny except for 2 very windy or wet days. Boat was clean, well-equipped and well looked after, with fewer defects than on charter boats from elsewhere. Ivana and Pasko and the taxi driver were extremely helpful. Lots of beautiful quiet harbours and anchorages. Avoid Trogir Friday afternoon. Try to keep constant speed when reversing into narrow space. Our party of three hired a 36' yacht during late May 2006. We could not find any fault from our arrival to our departure. Ivana and Pasko were very businesslike, co-operative and friendly, Our boat was in tip-top condition. We found the people of Split and Croatia to be friendly and the waters to be very good sailing conditions. The weather was warm and sunny for most, if not all of our stay.

We had the Bavaria 36. Throughly enjoyed ourselves. We also had a skipper who was a previous Croatian olympian called Tony who I would highly recommend. We had 5 people plus skipper on that boat.
The two rear cabins are probably too small to share so that boat might be a bit of a squeeze depending if you are having a skipper. If not, then you could have two sleep in the lounge, one each in the rear and yourselves in the front cabin.
If you are navigating yourself then the boat has an autopilot so pretty easy if you have the compass bearings of where you want to go. Don't forget mooring fees as these add quite a lot to the price of the trip.
We flew to Split but found out afterwards that you can take EasyJet to Budapest and then Sky Europe or another cheaper option is to take a fast ferry to Split from Italy which takes 3 or 4 hours I think.
We sailed from Split to Vis and then to Hvar calling at various ports along the way. Would recommend that route it is well known by all the skippers and takes about a week. Can't recall all the names of the ports........
I would recommend Ivana. Boat was in great condition, perfect weather and a fantastic skipper - one of the best holidays we had ever had!

The service provided by Ivana and her husband was excellent, they are a charming young couple with children trying to build a charter business. They had two boats when we chartered from them, we chartered the 38` Bavaria which was handed over in pristine condition. I believe they are adding a third boat to their small fleet this year. Ivana drove us to the supermarket for provisions and organised a hire car to be delivered to the Marina on our return because we were flying back from Dubrovnik.The area is an excellent sailing area with plenty of boltholes if the weather turns nasty however in August you would be very unlucky if you experienced bad weather.Just before I forget what was not made clear to us was the refuelling situation, surprisingly there is no refuelling point in the bay where their boats are based, the refuelling point is in the next bay (Split Marina) in front of the multi-storey hotel on a small mole, you are based in Spinut Marina which is over 30 mins away. Also I would check if the pilot they have is written in English, we had our own pilot but I think the onboard pilot was in Croat. These are small points so please do not be put off, they probably have an English version of the pilot we just did not ask for it.I planned our passage by referencing the pilot with the rough guide our furthest port of call was Skradin in the National Park, there is a fantastic sail up the river to get there. Stay overnight in Skradin Marina, to avoid the crowds take the first ferry up river to the waterfalls, they are well worth a visit for a couple of hours and your family will enjoy swimming under the falls. For dinner try the suckling pig, watch for the smoke at the far end of the village, basic restaurant but delicious.Other places we visited were Privic Luka, Trogir, Rogoznica and Milna on Brac. They all have their own character, some busy some quiet, we were not disappointed with any of them.

I am pleased to tell you about our trip last September from Split.We have chartered in both Greece and Turkeyand decided on Croatia for a change.We were not disappointed. The service from the charter company was first class and the Bavaria36 being new last year was in very good condition.Ivana and my wife arranged it all through e mails including taxi from the airport trip to the supermarket for provisions and arranged for to us see the town of Split on the day of our flight home.
Our trip was for 2 weeks and we followed the itinerary in the brochure The mainland side of the islands on the way down to Dubrovnik and the outside on the way back. The highlight was the visit to Korcula town. The rest of the stops were also interesting.
The only drawback was the high cost of marinas. The night in Korcula marina cost £34 for a 36 ft yacht however there are town quays a lot cheaper and plenty of bays to anchor in for free.
We had 2 couples on board and plenty of room and are trying to persuade another couple to join us next year to we can afford the Bavaria38 in the same area.

We chartered the Bavaria 38 during the first week of October this year. There were 4 of us in total and we were glad to have opted for the 38 rather than the 36 – you get a load more room for not a great deal more money (plus the boat is faster). My views and observations are as follows:
-          Our boat was in excellent condition and very clean when we boarded, although the sails are fairly worn (as you would expect on a charter boat)
-          The transfer to and from the air port was arranged by Ivana and went very smoothly
-          In planning our vacation, I sent Ivana numerous emails with queries and she always got back to me without delay
-          From my research, they are the cheapest company operating out of Split
-          It rained every day bar one – I will never go in October again! (although I heard that we were particularly unlucky!!)
-          I heard that in the peak of the summer it can be almost impossible to find a berth in a ACI marina, and to do so you need to be there at about 3pm, which is the best time to sail
-          All the ACI marinas we stayed at were first class (take a look at their web site)
-          I could not fault the service we received from Ivana and her husband
-          The nicest place we visited was Havar (beautiful town) and a lovely area to sail
-          For night life (i.e for the teenagers) the bars on Havar are also pretty good and Split is also good for a night out.
Lastly, I will definitely use the Company again.

We found Croatia-Yacht charter to be friendly and efficient. We hired a Bavaria38 which was almost new and was well equipped.In terms of places to go we found U Bobovisce on Otok Brac a good firstnight stop.Havar on Otok Havar is good with some nice architecture but is very busy.
U. Maslinica also on Otok Havar is a good place to anchor and for swimming depending on the winds.Vis on Otok Vis is also worth a visit but again is very busy. There are some good restuarants in Kut. In general it gets difficult to find a mooring/berth after 4pm. Also, i would recomend taking full UK oil skins as the weather can be stormy in August in the Adriatic as we found.
The whole area is great.
